International Green Economy Association

International Green Economy Association was born against the background of the UN Green Economy Resolution reached at the 2012 UN Conference on Sustainable Development or Rio+20. It was later registered in Chaoyang District of Beijing with the full name of International Green Economy Association of Chaoyang District, Beijing and the brand name of International Green Economy Association. Mr. Sha Zukang, former Under-Secretary-General of the UN is the Honorary Chairman of IGEA.

As an AAAA-rated Chinese professional social organization, IGEA is committed to advancing the green low-carbon and sustainable development of the various industries and the different levels of governments in China and the international community.
