CCPIT-CISC was established in 1996 with the approval of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (shorted as CCPIT), accepting the dual leadership, business guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and CCPIT. It is a non-governmental international economic and trade organization composed of representative individuals, enterprises, and groups from the construction industry. Operating directly under the leadership of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China and CCPIT, it is one of the main channels for the construction industry to engage in international economic, trade, and investment, playing a significant role in promoting the internationalization of the construction industry.
Since its establishment, CCPIT-CISC has been leveraging its strengths to promote the development of international economic and trade, international investment, and international exchanges in China’s construction industry. It has organized a series of high-level, large-scale, and widely influential international exhibitions, inspections, and forums, and has jointly built a number of industrial parks both domestically and internationally. The branch has refined its trade services to related professional fields, promoting the development of trade cooperation in areas such as urban development, urban operation and maintenance, planning and design, prefabricated construction, energy-saving in construction, and digital applications in specialized fields, accelerating the pace of Chinese real estate, construction and infrastructure enterprises and related products expanding into the international market.
