New Score Contribution Dashboard
Earlier this month, GRESB introduced Score Contribution—a new membership tool that gives real estate managers greater insights into how individual assets contribute to a portfolio’s overall GRESB Score, in the aggregate and across key performance metrics.
The introduction of Score Contribution marks an important milestone for GRESB, which has devoted significant resources in recent years to enhance the experience of its members and provide them with the tools needed to maximize the impact of their sustainability efforts. With it, members can:
- Understand their GRESB Scores at the asset level
- Engage stakeholders more effectively with granular insights
- Take action where it matters most
Score Contribution is available to GRESB Real Estate Participants at no additional cost. Learn more about Score Contribution.

2025 GRESB Accredited Professional
The 2025 edition of the GRESB Accredited Professional (AP) program is now available.
This year, GRESB AP has been expanded with the launch of the GRESB AP – Infrastructure Team Leader exam. This new credential is designed to equip infrastructure professionals with the knowledge and skills to navigate GRESB reporting, enhance sustainability performance, and drive informed investment decisions.
2025 GRESB AP Real Estate Exam has also been updated with a focus on scoring methodologies, roadmap updates, and emerging sustainability topics, including embodied carbon, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.
Alongside the updated exams, GRESB has launched an improved online training platform. The platform hosts updated training materials, new videos, investor training, and exclusive content for GRESB APs, ensuring that professionals stay up to date with the evolving real asset landscape.

GRESB at MIPIM 2025
GRESB was thrilled to take part in the 2025 edition of MIPIM, held in Cannes, France, where global real estate leaders gathered for a week of insightful discussions, networking, and recognition of sustainability excellence.

This year, GRESB partnered with the Global ESG Awards, hosted by the EUBIN and sponsored by RICS, MIPIM and Deepki, celebrating organizations leading sustainability efforts across the real estate and construction industries.
Represented by Mathilde Petriat, Chief Customer Success Officer; Katy Aylward, Director of the Partners Program; and Younes Guemouri, Head of EMEA, GRESB recognized 2024 GRESB Sector Leaders present at MIPIM on stage for their outstanding leadership in sustainability and their commitment to driving innovation and resilience in the built environment.

Foundation Update
Foundation Roundtables
The Foundation hosted a roundtable in Mexico City and Sydney this month to gather stakeholder discussions focused on priority topics highlighted in the Foundation Roadmap. In Mexico, we were joined by Jose Pablo Rinkenbach from AINDA, Diego Berho from Vesta, Eric Holschneider from Fibra Prologis, and Fernando Álvarez Toca from FUNO. The speakers highlighted the evolution of sustainability regulations in the region and shared how their sustainability strategies are helping to drive value for their funds and investors. In Sydney, GRESB hosted an Investor Masterclass as well as two Foundation Roundtables, one for infrastructure and one for real estate. In-person attendance reached around 80 with close to 20 dialing in, a terrific result.
The Investor Masterclass attendees covered a wide range of topics, but it was clear that GRESB is still a useful tool to assess the progress of a manager’s sustainability path, but that an improvement to the standard was needed to assess best performance practices. This sentiment was also commonly shared in the real estate roundtable, with many welcoming the proposed changes GRESB will adopt, starting in 2025, around energy efficiency scoring as well as assessing real estate sectors differently (i.e., residential, data centers, and industrial/logistics).
The infrastructure roundtable welcomed the upcoming changes to the assessments and highlighted that it is critical for GRESB and the Foundation to continue to increase participation numbers across all Infrastructure Assessments, which, in turn, will increase the relevance of the Benchmark.
Foundation Members In-Person Meeting
Members of the GRESB Foundation, including the Board, the Real Estate and Infrastructure Standards Committees, and the Data Center Working Group will gather in London for an in-person meeting this month. There will be several strategy sessions, as well as presentations by the Foundation’s Change Management and Data Center Working Groups, and the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC).
Although the Foundation hosts most of its meetings virtually, there is nothing that compares to face-to-face interactions and knowledge-sharing. Representatives from the GRESB Secretariat plan to attend several industry events throughout 2025, including the ULI Spring Meeting (Denver), INREV (Berlin), SuperReturn Climate & Energy Transition (Berlin), and Climate Week (London and NYC). Please reach out to [email protected] if you would like to connect with us!
