Amsterdam, April 23, 2025 – GRESB is pleased to announce an important update to its new Score Contribution feature: the inclusion of building certifications and energy ratings. This update provides Real Estate Participants with deeper, more actionable insights into how individual assets influence their GRESB Score across key performance metrics.

Deeper asset-level insights now include:
- Validation status, time factor applied, and floor area covered by asset for building certifications
- Scheme name, floor area, and energy rating score for each asset
- Comparative insights to help prioritize certification and upgrade strategies
With these new additions, Score Contribution now delivers a more comprehensive view of what drives performance at the asset level, enabling real estate managers to focus their efforts where they matter most, make informed, targeted improvements, and communicate more effectively with their assets and stakeholders.
Since its launch in March 2025, more than 1,300 real estate portfolios have used Score Contribution to explore asset-level insights and unlock new opportunities for performance improvement. The strong uptake underscores the feature’s value in enabling data-driven decision-making.
Score Contribution is available at no additional cost to all GRESB Real Estate Participants. Learn more about Score Contribution.
