The GRESB AP – Team Leader exam (both real estate and infrastructure) consists of three main components: Fundamentals, Reporting, and Results. The exam is open book, and examinees are encouraged to use the GRESB AP Handbook as a reference during the exam. Examinees are allotted a 24-hour window to complete the exam.

The GRESB AP Real Estate exam is composed of 80 questions, spread between the three sections: 10 questions in Fundamentals, 30 questions in Reporting, and 40 questions in Results. The Infrastructure exam is composed of 75 questions: 10 questions in Fundamentals, 40 in Reporting, and 25 in Results.

Questions can be skipped and returned to later by bookmarking them, provided the section has not been submitted. Upon completion of each section, examinees will be prompted to “Submit section.” Once submitted, answers cannot be revisited or altered.

There is a 24-hour window for completion. Although the exam is typically completed within two hours, examinees have the flexibility to manage their time throughout the day.

The passing score for both GRESB AP – Team Leader exams is 70%.

Successful candidates will obtain a personalized certificate, QR code, and link for LinkedIn use, valid for 12 months from the passing date. Passing the AP – Team Leader exam grants you the title of GRESB Accredited Professional.

In the event of a failed attempt, a single retake is available 48 hours after the initial attempt. You have until the 2024 exam closes in Spring 2025 to conduct your retake. If you do not pass on your retake, you will need to purchase another exam if you wish to make further attempts.

After submitting your exam and receiving your score, you will be able to review your results and the questions answered correctly and incorrectly.

The GRESB AP exam questions all carry the same weight. The passing score for the GRESB AP – Team Leader exam is 70%. Passing requires answering 70% (53 out of 75 questions) correctly.

Questions in the exam are drawn at random from a larger question bank, meaning that new attempts will contain a different set of questions.
In every attempt, the exam will continue to be broken down into three sections: the Fundamentals section with 10 questions, the Reporting section with 35 questions, and the Results section with 30 questions. -

Yes, the renewal exam must be completed by the time that your current credential expires. The 50% discount is only valid for the following year’s update exam.
