2021-2023 GRESB Annual Fee Schedule
Introducing a stable, simpler fee structure
Over the last months, the GRESB team has reviewed the experience of our Members and Partners in order to improve the value we provide and better serve our growing community.
After carefully considering the many different investment structures and use cases of GRESB, we are introducing a simpler fee structure that streamlines the GRESB experience.
Growing the benchmark is central to our mission because with every new participant, peer comparisons become more useful, scores and ratings become more comprehensive and the quality of the entire dataset improves.
Recognizing this collaborative process, we commit to keeping our annual fees stable for three years for all our Members and Partners.
2021-2023 Annual Fee Schedule for Participant Members
An Assessment participation fee of EUR 4,000 will apply for every submission. This fee remains the same as the fee for a single entity in 2020 and will be fixed for the next three years. For participants with a large number of participating portfolios, the total Assessment participation fee will be capped at EUR 36,000.
The fee covers guidance materials, Helpdesk support, validation and includes access to the Benchmark Report, Data Exporter and Portfolio Analysis Tool. Participants have the flexibility to complete a full Assessment or an individual Assessment Component.
We want to ensure that participation in the benchmark remains as inclusive and accessible as possible. That’s why we will be growing our team in emerging markets, as well as strengthening our support so that participants new to GRESB can get started quickly, and with ease. We will also continue to provide a free online training program to all participants in 2021.
We will invoice all GRESB Participant Members on an annual basis, based on the number of participating entities from the previous reporting year. There will still be a one-off payment option per participating entity at the time of Assessment submission.
By implementing these changes, we’ll strengthen our membership base, better meet the needs of our stakeholders, and provide a simpler, more scalable fee structure that better aligns with the value participants receive from the benchmark.
