Benchmarking the sustainability performance of your organization helps to generate and strengthen the market forces needed to bring environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues to the forefront of your business. By participating in the GRESB Assessment, you will be able to better manage your portfolio and assets in the face of more volatile energy prices, stricter legislation to combat climate change, increased energy efficiency requirements, and changing preferences of tenants.

As a GRESB member, you can access the GRESB data to evaluate and improve the ESG performance of your real estate or infrastructure investment portfolio, or the ESG performance of your real estate company/fund or infrastructure asset/fund.

Industry associations, and service and solution providers can join GRESB as Partners. Membership is offered for Real Estate and Infrastructure at a variety of levels: Investor, Company/Fund Manager, Partner and Supporter.

Real Estate

Investor and Bank members

Real estate investor and bank members gain access to the necessary information and tools to monitor and manage the ESG risks and opportunities in their investment portfolios, and to prepare for more stringent ESG reporting obligations.

GRESB focuses on real estate companies and funds as a whole, rather than assessing the performance of individual assets. Investors and banks using the GRESB data will better understand immediate sustainability risks — such as flooding and energy efficiency regulations — to engage with their real estate investments and borrowers and to take advantage of sustainability-related investment opportunities.
